Garrett Park Guitars presents...

Fender Custom Shop Junkyard Dog Telecaster & Rocking Dog Stratocaster Guitars

MAKE YOUR OWN ART...

We are so excited to present these custom made guitars, individually designed to suit all you guitar needs and more. We worked with Fender Custom Shop and our friend, Lindy Fralin, to put together a medley of guitars that are unique and outstanding in more ways than just one. Lets start with the Rocking Dog '62 Stratocaster, shall we?

This Fender custom shop relic adopts the construction and style of the old '62 Strats. An alder body sorted for lightweight and finished in a 3-Tone Sunburst lacquer, seamlessly complimented with a custom shaped rosewood neck, this Rocking Dog will have you rocking in no time. We chose a 9.5" radius and 6015 fret wire to improve the bending of notes and also asked Fender to duplicate the neck profiles used by the late Masterbuilder John English. With the C-shape profile, the neck measures .860" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th fret. The nut, constructed of bone, measures 1.650" wide and the butt width is 2.200".
And don't get us started on the pickups! We asked our friend, Lindy Fralin, to design pickups, and the custom Rocking Dog '62 pickup is outstanding! A powerful and expressive pickup, that really brings out the best of the alder body.
Another nice surprise to this Relic are the non-rusted moving parts, so you can adjust the bridge and saddle height however your heart desires.
To replicate the exquisite tone of the original '60s Strats, we asked Fender to use wax paper capacitors as well as metal shielding under the pickguard. And to top it all off it comes in a custom brown case with gold lining and all the goodies an owner of this truly amazing guitar could want!

Now lets check out the Junkyard Dog '62 Telecaster.

Beginning with an ash body and finished in a Vintage Blonde lacquer, this relic body is sorted for lightweight. The custom neck duplicates the neck profiles used by the late Masterbuilder, John English. With its C shape, the neck measures .860" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th fret. The bone nut width is 1.650" and the butt width is 2.200. We chose a 9.5" radius and 6015 fret wire to improve the bending of notes for all your hardcore rocking needs, and also used an Electrosocket input which affixes directly to the body keeping the cable in place so you never have to worry about it coming out.
These are custom Lindy Fralin Junkyard Dog '62 Tele pickups as well. Did we mention he individually signs the bottoms of each one? A true master of the pickup world. That and the wax paper capacitors found on this Tele give it the beautiful tone of the original '62 Teles. It also comes in a brown case with gold lining.

Shall we keep going?

We present to you the 2014 Fender Custom Shop Junkyard Dog '51 Telecaster, and what a beaut she is! An ash body sorted for lightweight in a Nocaster Blonde lacquer finish, the contrast with the black pickguard makes this guitar pop like the true classics. The custom neck, duplicating the John English neck profile, measures .860" at the first fret and 980" at the 12th. In addition, we chose a fingerboard radius of 9.5" and 6015 fret wire to improve the bending of notes. The bone nut width is 1.650" and the butt width is 2.200". We asked Fender to use wax paper capacitors to replicate the beautiful tone of the original '50s black guard Teles and, like the '62 Tele, we chose an Electrosocket input jack.
Here are those custom Lindy Fralin pickups again, and this time they are Junkyard Dog '51 Telecaster pickups. Once again, we have no rust on the moving parts so even though this guitar has the look of a true '51 Tele, it plays like new and is adjustable to you and your playing needs. Comes with a center pocket tweed case.

The closet classic of the bunch, this '55 Strat has an ash body sorted for lightweight and finished in a 2-Tone Sunburst lacquer finish.
The quarter sawn maple neck is finished in a nitro lacquer. Duplicating the John English neck profile, the C shape neck measures .860" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th. The bone nut width is 1.650" and the butt width is 2.200". Like the rest of these custom guitars, we chose a 9.5" radius and 6015 fret wire to improve the bending of notes, and also turned to our friend Lindy Fralin to create top notch custom Rocking Dog '55 pickups. We asked Fender to use wax paper capacitors to replicate the fantastic tone of the original '50s strats, as well as use metal shielding under the potentiometers. The modern stratocaster wiring creates a crisp and great tone that makes this closet classic one for the record books. Comes with a custom tweed vintage case.

And last but not least, we bring the 2014 Fender Custom Shop Junkyard Dog 1960 Telecaster Relic.

This is not your average 1960 Telecaster! An alder body sorted for lightweight and finished with light relic aging, the body has double binding all around and is finished in an intoxicating Midnight Wine, a special finish not produced during it's time. This guitar is truly unique! And to top it off, we are custom ordering this guitar in a variety of unique finishes. This guitar has the same 9.5" radius and 6015 fret wire to improve the bending of notes and the same Lindy Fralin Junkyard Dog pickups. The C shape, John English neck profile, measures .860" at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th. The bone nut width is 1.650" and the butt width is 2.200". We asked Fender to use wax paper capacitors to replicate the fantastic tone of the original 60's Telecasters. Comes with a brown tolex case and don't forget the candy!

Well that's all folks! Now that you're itching for more, you can check out our website for more photos of each one of these incredible guitars and better yet, you can stop by our shop to test them out and feel just how one of a kind they are!

Thanks for reading,
